Allyship Training Toolkit
Allyship Toolkit Aims:
- Identify different types of allyship, including your own.
- Explore how different allyship types can support marginalised or disadvantaged individuals.
- Recognise the concept of privilege.
- Reflect on how privilege can be used to support others.
Allyship Training Toolkit
Allies can show up in different ways, whether that be challenging the status quo, using their privilege to speak up and amplify the voices of those who may be underappreciated or sharing opportunities with those who might be overlooked.
To support allyship in the workplace, we have created a free resource with fun team activities which enables individuals to level up on their Ally superpower in an interactive quiz on behavioural preferences and explores their privilege and how they can use that to support others.

What is it?
The Allyship Training Toolkit, is made up of two engaging team activities, which can be carried out in-person or virtually. The activities, which have step-by-step instructions, has been designed by a team of Specialists especially for those with little or no experience in running training sessions.
How does it work?
Activities are 30-60 minutes each, depending on group size, so can be implemented during team meetings, as part of an induction, in a 1-2-1 meeting or altogether in a formal training session.
During each session relate the learning to your own organisations policies, processes, and guidance, as appropriate. An action planning sheet has been included to help learners identify and commit to at least three actions at the end of every session.
What next?
Once downloaded, the guide will appear in your ‘Downloads’ folder.
Are there any other Toolkits?
Yes! We offer a suite of 14 and counting Toolkits available to use within team meetings, one-to-ones, inductions, and more! Check out our available Diversity and Inclusion Training Toolkits here.
