Carer Friendly Activity

With 600 UK Carers leaving work everyday due to their caring responsibilities, it is essential for workplaces to foster a Carer-friendly environment; one that empowers staff to successfully balance work and care.

This resource has been created to start and support organisations on their journey to become Carer-friendly.

What is it?
The Carer-friendly resource is a free activity to enable organisations to start to have conversations in the workplace about working Carers and to build confidence in asking the right questions. Please note that all statistics included in the resource are from UK sources.

How does it work?
The resource is broken down into two activities which consist of step-by-step instructions and helpful prompts. The activities can be held as part of a formal training session, at the end of a team meeting, induction, as a lunch and learn or even as part of a 1-2-1.

What next?
Once downloaded, the guide will appear in your ‘Downloads’ folder.
