After identifying the key leadership competencies they wanted to develop, Morris & Spottiswood Group approached us with clear outcomes in mind; to nurture leadership talent and drive cultural excellence within the business. They were looking for a structured yet adaptable programme to nurture both emerging and future leaders. The resulting initiative included:

The Story
Morris & Spottiswood Group, a leading provider of fitout, housing, facilities management and M&E services in the UK, approached RightTrack Learning with a clear vision: to equip leaders at different career stages with the tools, confidence, and self-awareness to drive their teams effectively and navigate organisational changes.
Following a succession planning exercise and training with another provider, they knew what they wanted. They found that while their previous training was valuable, it was highly academic, making it difficult for leaders to apply their learning in practice. They needed a programme that combined theory with hands-on, practical application– one that catered to all learning styles and ensured learning could be transferred into real-world workplace scenarios.
Through close collaboration, we aligned Morris & Spottiswood Group’s leadership competency framework with a tailored, interactive learning journey featuring structured modules, self-awareness development tools, and personalised coaching. A key focus was bringing together leaders from different areas of the business to strengthen cross-functional teamwork and alignment.
By incorporating practical exercises and opportunities for self-reflection, leaders could immediately apply their learning to workplace challenges while building the confidence and strategic insight needed to drive long-term business success.
The Programme
Our management & leadership development specialists designed two modular programmes to cater to different levels of leadership seniority and knowledge:

The programmes incorporated High Potential Traits Indicator (HPTI) and Myer-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessments, building self-awareness and leadership agility. Delegates also received coaching at key milestones ensuring continuous reflection and application. This included a final coaching session at the end of the programme to consolidate their learning and explore how to apply their insights in the next 12-18 months as part of their self-directed leadership journey.
The Impact
The programmes provided Morris & Spottiswood Group leaders with invaluable skills and insights enabling them to tackle leadership challenges head-on and drive the business forward. Through a blend of group learning, practical application, and coaching, the training enhanced self-awareness, allowed time for continuous reflection and strengthened their ability to lead with greater effectiveness and confidence.
