Vesuvius: Unconscious Bias Manual & Trainer Training
The Story
Vesuvius is a global leader in molten metal flow engineering, principally serving the steel and foundry industries. They operate in 36 countries and employ 12,000 people worldwide.As part of an overall development plan, the company sought an external provider to support them in the design of a Vesuvius-branded Unconscious Bias training programme. To ensure a cost effective approach, the solution needed to be prepared in a way that enabled local delivery teams to roll the programme out to a global workforce.
We designed a poignant, interactive and practical Unconscious Bias programme in the form of a step-by-step, easy to follow training manual. The Vesuvius team, responsible for the roll out attended a comprehensive RightTrack Train the Trainer programme to provide an opportunity to familiarise with the content and activities, to practice delivery and receive individual feedback from the RightTrack specialist.
The project also included a development session for the senior team which was designed with more of a strategic focus.
