The Programme

The ‘Together Braver’ programme, a blended learning approach utilising both in-person training and virtual sessions and enhanced with actors and toolkits to embed the learning, comprised three key modules:

• Module 1: ‘We Are Curious and Conscientious’, covered how understanding beats assumptions. As catalysts for change, we must challenge our preconceived ideas about others.
• Module 2: ‘We Collaborate and Empower’, explored how if we acknowledge our own power, we can take responsibility for creating an empowering environment where everyone can thrive.
• Module 3: ‘We Act with Conviction’ investigated empowering ourselves and others to become allies, so we can create a ripple effect, challenging norms, breaking barriers, and championing equality.

Each module delved into essential topics, fostering knowledge, understanding, and practical skills necessary for engaging in meaningful conversations.

RightTrack Learning gathered insights from employee resource groups, conducting interviews and gathering feedback to tailor the content to the organisation’s unique context. Additionally, the team of learning and development specialists incorporated bespoke scenarios and actor-led simulations both virtually and during in-person workshops, providing participants with practical tools and resources to navigate real-world conversations. Cascading their new learning, managers were equipped with 8 newly tailored training toolkits, which are a collection of interactive conversation starters, mini-training activities and self-reflection tools designed for organisations to use in-house to keep the learning alive following workshops, or for Managers and EDI Champions to communicate key messages to their teams.
