Using a forum-theatre methodology in our training, attendees explore solutions to challenging workplace interactions, witness the consequences of intent versus impact, and experiment with new skills (without having to role play themselves!). Using professional actors to play out real-life situations is a proven way of maximising impact by embedding the learning into the long-term memory through powerful moments that engage both hearts and minds.

We either select scenarios from our library or write them specially for you. For larger projects where budgets don’t allow for live acting, we can professionally film bespoke scenarios. Video content can be used in the training, as well as induction, toolkits, and beyond.

Scenarios Based on Real Events

When delegates know the scenario they are witnessing happened within their own organisation, the affect is long-lasting. To create these scenarios, we invite individuals who have experienced specific issues we are looking to address, to be interviewed. The aim is to share the story so that people can learn; not to blame or cast judgement. The actor(s) relay the story keeping as close to the truth as we are able, whilst protecting individual’s anonymity.

Where it’s not possible to engage with individuals, we carry out extensive research to develop relevant scenarios that reflect the sector / environment in which you work, challenges we are looking to address and skills we want to develop.

Over the decades we have been designing and delivering tailormade solutions, it’s safe to say we’ve built up quite an archive of content including scenario scripts. Where appropriate (and particularly when restricted by budget) we can hand-select scenarios that focus on priority development areas in the context of your organisation.
