Join us for a Brave Chat: Is Your Marketing Really Promoting Inclusivity?
Representation matters. Whether it’s on social media, a magazine advert, a website, or quite simply point of sale, the first element of the brand a customer, supplier, potential partner or new candidate may see is through marketing. So it’s important that we get it right.
During this free, one hour session, Jess Sandham will be joined by Nikki Sehgal and Pardeep Bolla to discuss the power of inclusive marketing and communications, issues with misrepresentation and under-representation and steps to take to ensure your brand is promoting inclusivity.
Pardeep Bolla, Marketing Manager at Hearst and member and mentor at MEFA, has over 12 years of marketing experience working with global and national brands on both B2B and consumer campaigns – Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, Men’s Health, Daily Mirror and OK! magazine, to name a few!
Nikki, who has a wealth of marketing experience working for organisations such as TEDxLadbroke Grove and Nabs, is General Manager for Media For All (MEFA). MEFA exists to help people of colour thrive in the industry and increase its diversity of talent. Through mentoring programs, events, and industry outreach, MEFA has built a safe community for driving change through connecting and learning.
We explore:
- What is inclusive communication and why is it important?
- How to ensure your brand is representative
- How to solve problems and better represent people in communications
- The power of real stories
If you cannot attend, still sign up and we shall send you a recording following the session!
