Join us for our Brave Chat as we ask; How to Approach Conversations on Race?
Research shows that race is a topic that gives most people high levels of discomfort in the workplace. As the ‘revealer events’ of 2020, including the murder of George Floyd have shown, the consequences of failing to deal with race-related issues in the workplace and broader society can be tragic.
Dumi Senda, RightTrack’s Head of Growth and Innovation, will be joined by a panel of speakers to discuss this all-important topic:
Zarina Mahmud – Head of Diversity & Inclusion (Financial Services)
Suzanne McKie – Managing Partner, Farore Law
Luke Adebiyi – Business Development Manager, Capital International Group
We explore:
- What about race makes it a challenging topic for people to talk about?
- How do we get everyone onboard and involved?
- What steps can organisations take to support this topic?
- What can we work on in our individual capacities to get more confident and comfortable talking about race?
