BUILD YOUR OWN MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP TRAINING
The changing world demands contemporary leaders who can change with it and understand how to communicate, motivate, innovate and inspire equitably…
We don’t believe a one size-fits-all development solution measures up when it comes to realising the biggest return on your investment. Which is why we’re committed to investing the time it needs to work with you to build a solution that meets your people and organisational needs exactly.
Browse the modules below to build your own in-house management and leadership training programme or arrange a meeting with us to create it together. Once we understand your requirements and ‘wish-list’, we will prepare a tailormade, step-by-step project outline and quotation for implementation.
Build Your Own Management & Leadership Development Programme
Each module can be delivered as a stand-alone or combined to create a modular programme that’s delivered over time and supported with practical, role-related learning transfer activities to build confidence and embed new skills.
Workshops can be delivered virtually or face-to-face and as full or half day modules. They can be brought to life with actors, enhanced with one-to-one coaching, supplemented with psychometrics, accredited by our partners at the ILM, and evaluated using 360 degree evaluation.
All content can be adapted to align with specific roles and levels of experience and enhanced by a range of different options. And finally, this is by no means an exhaustive list of modules we can include; we have a library of content and a stable of specialists to draw upon, so if you have something specific in mind, just drop us a line.
Agility & Creative Problem-Solving
We live in a world of constant unpredictable change, and it is widely accepted that traditional approaches to management and leadership are becoming increasingly outdated. But with uncertainty comes opportunity.
By exploring how we can respond in a more agile way to turbulence, this innovative module connects leaders with the capabilities needed to lead in complex and uncertain environments, to take creative approaches to solving problems, and to reframe uncertainty as opportunity.
This module is included in the ‘Leading Strategically’ modular programme.
Authentic Inclusive Leadership
As the spotlight on diversity and inclusion intensifies, the significance of confident, inclusive leaders has never been more important. With a focus on authentic relationship-building, fair decision-making, and role-modelling behaviours aligned to organisational values, this is must-have learning for any leader.
This module can be built upon by including other modules such as From Unconscious Bias to Conscious Inclusion or Inclusive Recruitment, depending on role, responsibilities and earlier development initiatives.
This module is included in the ‘Contemporary Leaders’ modular programme.
Coaching Skills
Being able to personalise support for team members is a powerful tool in a leader’s toolbox. Effective coaching can unlock the potential in any individual, and leaders with this skill can help develop exceptional teams.
A half day module gets us through the theory. We introduce three coaching frameworks: Values Based Coaching, Solutions Focused Coaching using the OSKAR model, and the Co-Active Coaching Model. A follow up half-day is where the magic happens, when we split the group into small groups to practice the skills.
This module is included in the ‘Contemporary Leaders’ modular programme.
Collaborative Communication
The way we communicate with each other is evolving rapidly. As organisations explore different ways of working, collaboration and consultation are taking precedence over more formal methods. But how do we get the balance right between supplying clear direction and information for colleagues, peers and customers, and a more casual way of communicating?
This module takes participants on a journey to a deeper understanding of communication, with all its complexity in a variety of contexts and situations. The module also explores how our thinking and behaviour affects the messages we are delivering, linked to how we relate with others, how we manage conflict, and how we give and receive feedback.
This module is included in the ‘Advancing People Managers’ modular programme.
Courageous Conversations
It’s often said that the courageous conversation is the one we don’t want to have. At RightTrack, we want to turn that on its head. Courageous conversations provide opportunity for connection, collaboration, and deep learning.
Leaders who role model courage help shape an environment where people are open and honest. In these environments, people are empowered to experiment, innovate and challenge the status quo. This module equips leaders to create brave spaces for courageous conversations, to find a meaningful starting point, and to sustain value after the conversation.

Developing Exceptional Teams
In an exceptional team, every person has a role that aligns to a common sense of purpose, and everyone feels included, engaged, and motivated. Becoming an exceptional team is a collaborative effort that requires guidance, support, and facilitation from a capable leader.
In this module, leaders will develop their confidence in recognising, developing, and utilising the individual strengths of team members. They will be introduced to feedback frameworks for all types of performance, with a focus on inspiring growth. As with all our programmes, attendees will leave the session with a set of actions to further both individual and team development.
This module is included in the ‘Advancing People Managers’ modular programme.
Emotional Intelligence
Leadership is fundamentally about how you motivate others to contribute to the success of a team. Emotional intelligence is an important behavioural attribute that equips leaders to personalise the support they give to their team members, recognising the impact that emotion can have on a person’s performance.
Research shows when people feel purposeful, respected, empowered, valued, and included at work, they are more likely to perform at their best. Research also shows that frustration, worry, and stress have adverse effects on performance. Participants will leave this module with a better understanding of emotions, emotional intelligence, and techniques for applying emotional intelligence as a leader.

Inclusive Recruitment
Many features of traditional approaches to recruitment give rise to the opportunity for bias, a lack of transparency, and a poor candidate experience. At RightTrack, we want to challenge outdated recruitment processes and introduce new approaches that put the candidate at the heart of the recruitment journey.
This module equips managers and leaders with the tools to attract, recruit, and retain great talent by reframing the recruitment process and challenging bias in the candidate journey.

Introduction to Management
This foundational module is designed for those who are new to or heading for management or leadership role. As well as covering the purpose and differences between management and leadership, this introductory module explores how individuals connect with each other and the impact of this on people’s experience of managers and leaders.
Participants will develop their understanding of the attitudes and behaviours of great people managers, will be introduced to the link between managers and HR, and will leave the session with an understanding of both “what to do” and “how to do it”, so the learning can be applied immediately in-role.
Leadership Mindset for Strategic Success
Many organisational and cultural norms that evolve over time can act as barriers to inclusion and innovation. Issues with hierarchy, lack of leadership, fear of failure, and short-term thinking, to name just a few things, can stifle creativity and damage people’s sense of belonging. Leadership mindset plays an important role in unpicking some of these barriers and setting the tone for the future.
During this session leaders will explore the concept of moving out of the comfort zone and into the growth zone, with practical ways to challenge themselves and the leadership culture around them. Participants will leave the session with tools to help them role model a growth mindset and influence the systems, culture, and behaviours around them.

Leading Virtual & Hybrid Teams
It’s fair to say, changes to the way we work that have emerged from the COVID-19 pandemic are here to stay. As businesses grapple with the shift to virtual and hybrid working, there is a risk that employees become disengaged, and talent walks out of the door, as organisations struggle to match their approach with the expectations of a contemporary and enlightened workforce.
This module looks at the core challenges organisations face in a hybrid environment. It gives leaders the space to explore their own mindset when it comes to virtual and hybrid working, empowers leaders to determine what culture shift is needed to support hybrid working, and provides tools to maintain great performance, increase connection and support employee wellbeing.
This module is included in the ‘Contemporary Leaders’ modular programme.
Managing Tension & Conflict
With so much complexity and uncertainty in the environment around us, it’s inevitable that sometimes things go wrong, or tension can arise. As managers and leaders, how we manage tension and conflict has a significant impact on outcomes for our organisations.
This module looks at re-framing tension as a source of positivity and creativity, it equips participants with the tools and techniques to manage tension, resolve conflict, and encourage growth by cultivating and practising a positive dynamic tension mindset.

Performance Management
Traditional approaches to managing performance are known to be rigid, time consuming and negatively perceived by both managers and employees. But it shouldn’t and doesn’t need to be this way. RightTrack is at the forefront of developments on this subject, recognising the cultural and societal factors that are driving organisations to adopt new approaches.
Our performance management module removes bureaucracy to align more closely with modern organisational cultures and keep both personal and organisational objectives rapidly flexible. We introduce the check-in approach and other performance interview techniques, as well as coaching and mentoring to support the needs of a contemporary workforce.
This module is included in the ‘Advancing People Managers’ modular programme.
Personal Resilience
Our environments are complex and sometimes things go wrong, or don’t turn out the way we’d hoped. It’s important that when we’re faced with adversity, we find a way to bounce back. But building resilience isn’t only about our individual ability to recover from setbacks – it’s also about how we build an environment and support networks that help us to bounce back.
Developing resilience in the workplace reduces stress and improves wellbeing by equipping us to adapt well to change. We introduce a few key frameworks that participants can use to develop their own resilience, shape their environment, and contribute to the resilience and wellbeing of their teams.
This module is included in the ‘Leading Strategically’ and the ‘Contemporary Leaders’ modular programme.
Strategic Thinking
Strategic thinking is the ability to see both the big picture and the fine detail; to think in both the long-term and the short-term, and to be both future-focused and aware of the past. A strategic mindset can be developed by practicing self-awareness and engaging in critical reflection.
This module teaches leaders how to develop strategic thinking, help guide the direction of their teams, how to identify creative and innovative solutions to challenges, and how to take a future-focused approach while always maintaining flexibility.
This module is included in the ‘Leading Strategically’ modular programme.
Understanding Yourself as a Leader
Understanding individual leadership styles is critical for leaders in gaining clarity on their vision and the impact they want to have. Self-awareness equips leaders to make better, more rational decisions aligned to their goals.
This self-reflective module takes leaders through a process of identifying their personal drivers, their motivation, and their vision. Participants will explore the alignment of their own goals with the goals of the business. They’ll consider how their approach influences the organisational climate and will leave the session with a clear view on the impact that they want to have as a leader.
This module is included in the ‘Leading Strategically’ and the ‘Contemporary Leaders’ modular programme.
Understanding Your Role in People Management
This module is designed for those people who are just starting out or who want to become better people managers.
This module explores the purpose of people management and the key attributes and behaviours of successful people managers. Participants develop the confidence to bring out the best in people, and will leave the session with an increased understanding of the relationships between people managers, leadership, and HR.
